Top 100

In 2009 after taking a trip to Rio for Carnival, I created my Bucket List on my primary site Location 180.

Since then I’ve crossed over 30 items on that list including:

  • Run a marathon
  • Make at least $10/day on the internet
  • Live on a tropical island
  • Speak in front of a large group of people

The list goes on.

I’ve experienced first hand just how much is possible if you’re open to letting it.

With Breaking Eighty my initial goal was to have a golf bucket list, but I wanted something more more interesting than that.

My favorite part of golf is experiencing new courses.  So along with a few generic goals, why not do something very few people ever have and try and play the Top 100 Public Courses in the United States.

That’s what this page is devoted to.

Every course will include photos and a write up, and if things go well, I may even go global, as I travel about 4 months out of the year.

That being said, there are a lot of amazing private courses. Eventually the goal will be to play those too, but in order to build some momentum – I figured we’d start with the public ones.

Are you a member somewhere? Do you know someone? If you want to help out in anyway I’d love to hear from you.

Shoot me an email here.

In the meantime, here’s the list:
