The Base Layer does not have SPF properties but it has been formulated to help defend against environmental stressors including pollution, and blue light (from tech devices). We recommend applying The Face SPF, our breakthrough mineral SPF or any preferred SPF after you apply The Base layer.

Will it leave my skin greasy?

The Base Layer’s rich formula is designed to rub in easy and leave your skin with a shine-free, matte finish. For best results, only use a small, pea-sized amount when applying.

The Base Layer is a “morning moisturizer” but can I use it at night if I want to?

Yes! The Base Layer’s nutrient-dense formula will benefit your skin at any time of day.

This product blows my mind. The minute you apply it to your face you can feel your skin tighten, and it lasts all day or night long. I apply it in the morning before I get on set. I’m a stuntman and work 12-14 hours a day. I feel my face at the end of my busy day and you can still feel it. Nothing like this product. I use all three of their products every day.
