I get sent a lot of golf apparel to try out.
Some of it’s good.
Some of it’s not.
And some of it has worked its way into my day-to-day life as staples of my wardrobe.
Redvanly falls into that last box – but it wasn’t always that way.
I’ve tested out Redvanly items every year for about a decade now.
In the early years, I’d typically find one or two pieces that I liked – but much of it wasn’t for me.
Either that fit wasn’t quite right, or their bolder color block signature style was just well, a little too much for me.
However, each year they’ve quietly improved their products.
Better materials, more consistent fit, and frankly in my opinion, better designs.
And as it sits right now? Redvanly is the apparel brand I wear the most.
The exception to that, is I probably wear a bit more G/FORE on the golf course, but when you tally wear time both on and off course? Redvanly takes the cake.
So which items are so good that I can’t take them off? Let me show you.
These are my current favorite items from Redvanly.

My Favorite Overall Piece from Redvanly: Larkin Hoodie
The Larkin Hoodie has been staple of my wardrobe for years now. Short of maybe going to a fancy dinner, it’s my go to, do-anything hoodie.
It’s perfect on the golf course. It’s easy to throw on for errands at the gym.
Hell, I even paired it with a Zero Restriction Future Vest as one of my layering pieces for an October, 3 day fly fishing trip on the Deschutes River.
It’s that good. It’s warm when you want it to be, but never too warm.
This might be my most worn hoodie over the last 5 years. It's by far my favorite to throw on to go to the gym, around town, or better yet, wear on the golf course.
Most Wear Time: Ranstead Jeans
There’s no single piece of clothing I own that I’ve worn more in the last 12 months than the Ranstead pull-on jeans.
They’re wildly comfortable, but still look and perform like a pair of high-quality denim.
I have them in both Washed Indigo and Charcoal – with the latter getting the majority of the wear time.
Sure they won’t pass the dress code at most nicer clubs, but for anytime you’re not on the course? These are the jeans to beat.
Pull on stretchy jeans? Sounds weird, right? Maybe borderline sacrilege for a denim purist. Despite that, I wear these almost everyday, and am a total fan.

Most Splurge-Worthy: Quincy Cashmere Hoodie
Nobody needs a cashmere hoodie, but boy do I feel fancy when I put this thing on.
The fit is perfect, it’s wildly soft, and the very subtle accent color around the cuffs just elevates it that much more.
This is an expensive piece at $350 retail. But you can use our Redvanly discount code to drop it to $315, which makes it nearly $150 less than similar models from G/FORE and B.Draddy after their respective discounts.
Yes, over $300 is a lot of money to spend on a hoodie. But this is significantly less than similar cashmere offerings from other brands, making it one of the best deals for a luxurious sweater out there.
Most Versatile Pants: Calvin Chinos
Redvanly’s Bradley pants are among the most, if not the most, comfortable golf pants I own.
The downside though, is I think they look a bit more like ath-leisure pants than similar models from some other brands. This isn’t a terrible thing, but if you’re trying to pass them of as a genuine pair of khakis, I don’t think it’s going to happen.
This is why I LOVE their new Calvin Chinos. They’re just as soft, they have their signature pull-on functionality, but they look like a pair of classy chinos.
A few weeks ago I was out at Pronghorn for a golf tournament. I wore them on the course, and then I changed my shoes and top, and rolled straight into nice sit-down dinner in them as well.
These are the most versatile pants I own, and have been getting a ton of wear time lately.
The ultimate pair of performance chinos that actually look like traditional ones. If you need one pair of pants for both on and off the golf course? These are it.
Around the House: Donahue Joggers
I now have 3 pairs of the Donahue Joggers, from 3 different seasons. With each update, the product gets slightly better – and it’s clear why it’s one of their longest-running product lines: they’re amazing.
They’re super comfortable, the fit is great, and you have a ton of color options.
I stick with classic black, but these are my favorites for wearing around the house, to the gym, or for a run on slightly chillier days.
I'm not recommending these for the golf course. But for lounging around the house? It doesn't get more comfortable.

Class for All Occasions: Byers Sweater
I’ll be totally honest here. In the past, I haven’t loved Redvanly’s sweaters as much. The fit hasn’t always been perfect for me, and the fabric I didn’t think was quite as soft as with other brands.
But right now as we head into 2026, they have seriously upped their game. I don’t think there’s any product category that they’ve improved as much as they have with their sweaters.
The Byers features a very soft merino wool, fits great, and can be a classy look on the course, or perfect to wear to a nice dinner.
Right now, it’s second to only the G/FORE Merino sweater as my favorite crewneck sweater, but it’s been getting a lot of wear time as we head int the colder months – and you can’t overlook the fact it’s $100 cheaper.
A fantastic merino wool sweater that can be worn both on and off the course. Subtle color blocking looks good and adds to uniqueness of this product.
Best Shorts: Hanover Shorts
This was the product that really ushered Redvanly in to their modern collection of products.
These were the first bottoms in the industry to be truly “pull on” and they paved the way for the rest of their lineup of shorts and pants.
They are very good shorts, and unless you’re very confident, I personally recommend the 9″ in seam over the 7.5″ option.
This is a staple for them so you’ll find them in tons of colorways depending on if you prefer to blend in or stand out.
Yes, these shorts are expensive at $110. And yes, they're "pull on" golf shorts. But once you wear them, you'll want to run right back out and buy another pair.

For the Millennial: Harris Socks
Like many millennials, no matter how much I try, I just can’t bring myself to wear crew socks with shorts on the golf course.
No show for life.
And Redvanly’s socks kind of caught me off guard. They’re comfortable, wick moisture well, and have some cool designs if you want something outside of standard white.
Gen-Z need not apply.
While Redvanly does have some crew socks, I prefer the Harris stripe no show when I'm on the course.

For the Gym: Russell Long-Sleeve T Shirt
Another item I didn’t expect much out of, but has made it’s way into my weekly rotation is the Russell Long Sleeve Tee.
This has become a super versatile piece for me that I wear out day to day, and also wear frequently in the gym. The t-shirt is just as good, but I find myself reaching for the long sleeve more, as it’s the perfect balance of lightweight and comfortable.
I wear this thing everywhere. Around the house, coffee shop, gym. It's lightweight, comfortable, and is the perfect thing to throw on after a round of golf.
Best Polo: Alpine Polo
No matter what your style is, there’s a polo for you.
But for me? I prefer basic. I don’t want crazy over the top prints, and usually pick more muted colors.
The Alpine polo nails this. Its performance material is a little bit on the thicker side, which I like, and this shirt does a better job of hiding nipples, body hair, and dad bod more than some other performance fabric golf polos (if you know you know).
Redvanly has a polo for everyone, regardless of your style. But for me? I prefer a simple and basic look - and the Alpine absolutely nails this.

It isn’t. I don’t take sponsored posts here at Breaking Eighty.

I own (and wear) every piece of clothing mentioned here, and the only compensation I get is if you click one of the affiliate links or use my Redvanly discount code.
If you think that makes me biased, totally cool, feel free to go do your own research.
But I only do posts like this for products and brands I genuinely love and wear myself, and Redvanly absolutely falls into this camp.
Final Thoughts on the Current Redvanly Lineup
I could go on and on about what I’ve been digging from the brand lately.
This was originally supposed to be a 5-item article, but as I started writing it, I began to realize just how much I enjoy (and wear) Redvanly products.
They’re that good.
And maybe the best part, is that while it’s a higher-end brand, that is by no means cheap, it is more affordable than similar options from other brands out there.
And when you can save 10% with the code BREAKINGEIGHTY, prices get even more palatable.
