Both are kind of the best in their respective price points, but often the question is “Is it worth spending more money to get the Mevo Plus?”

They each come with a nice canvas carrying case, which you can easily slip in your bag.
There’s nothing over the top about either, and the presentation is very similar for the two products.
Winner: Tie – Neither one stands out from the other drastically here.
Size and Portability: Both are Super Portable
Both the FlightScope Mevo Plus and the Rapsodo MLM2PRO are super compact. One of the benefits to not having a built-in screen is that these devices are more portable than some other products in the space like the Uneekor Eye Mini or the Bushnell Launch Pro
While the cases are slightly different dimensions, both are very easily portable.
Winner: Tie – Since both of these are so easily portable and small, there’s no clear winner here.
Ease of Setup: The Rapsodo Shines Here
Setting up the Mevo Plus is straightforward, but you’ll need to be precise with your alignment to get accurate readings. It also requires a stable Wi-Fi connection, which can be a hassle.
The MLM2PRO shines with its easy and quick setup. Its higher positioning makes alignment a breeze, and it connects smoothly to your device.
Winner: Rapsodo MLM2PRO – Faster setup means more time to focus on your swing.
Accuracy: Both are Great, but FlightScope Wins Out
Accuracy is arguably the most important factor when choosing a launch monitor. After all, what good is a device if it doesn’t give you reliable data?
The thing I’ve always loved about the Mevo Plus, is that when setup properly, it’s nearly as accurate as devices that cost 10x more – both indoors and out.
Throw in the Pro Package and Impact Detection add-ons, and you unlock the whole D-Plane suite of club statistics – all of which are surprisingly accurate for such a small device.
The Rapsodo MLM2PRO is no slouch in the accuracy department, either.
This is especially true when you’re able to use it indoors or into a net with Rapsodo RPT balls, which help more accurately track spin rates.

But even outside on the range, it performed very well for a device that costs less than $1k.
Winner: FlightScope Mevo Plus – For golfers who need the most robust accurate data, the Mevo Plus is the way to go.
Space Requirements: About the Same
Not everyone has a spacious garage or backyard to set up their golf simulator, so space requirements are an important consideration.
The FlightScope Mevo Plus requires a fair amount of room to function properly. It needs about 7-8 feet behind the ball and an additional 8 feet in front, which can be a bit challenging if you’re working with limited space. This makes it better suited for larger indoor areas or outdoor setups where space isn’t an issue.
The MLM2PRO needs a similar amount of space with 8 feet from the ball to the net, and at least 6.5 feet to from the unit to the ball.
This is one area where a predominantly photometric system has the advantage, as by placing it beside the ball, rather than behind it, it cuts your space requirements in half.
Winner: Rapsodo MLM2PRO – This should really be a tie, but since the MLM2PRO technically requires slightly less space, it gets the edge.

Subscription Fees: This Proves Price Isn’t Everything…
