Finding the perfect Father’s Day gift for the golfer in your life shouldn’t be this hard. But between the endless gear drops, the marketing hype, and trying to figure out what he actually needs versus what he already has, it can feel overwhelming.
That’s where I come in.
I’ve spent years testing and reviewing the best golf products on the market, and every year around Father’s Day, I put together a curated list of the gifts I’d actually want to receive, or that I’ve already given to the golfers in my own life. Whether your dad is a tech obsessive, a gear snob, a casual weekend warrior, or somewhere in between, there’s something on this list for him.
We’ve kept it tight this year, around 20 picks, all at different price points, all personally vetted. No filler, no fluff.
If you’re looking for more gift ideas, you can check my holiday golf gift guide from last year, or this list of good golf stocking stuffers – if you want some ideas for smaller gifts.

The Very Best Golf Gift: Arccos Smart Sensors
For the last five-plus years, my top gift recommendation has come from Arccos Golf — and it’s not even close.
This is legitimately my most gifted golf product of the past few years. I’ve probably given a half dozen sets to different people in my life, and every single one of them has thanked me for it.
Arccos Smart Sensors screw into the grip of every club and track every shot you hit, giving you statistics about your game that were previously only available to Tour players. It’s the kind of data that will genuinely change how someone thinks about their game.
One thing to note: after the first year, there’s a $200/year subscription fee. Keep that in mind, depending on your recipient.
- Who is it for? The dad who plays at least once a week and loves to geek out on stats.
- Who isn’t it for? Anyone who is completely tech-illiterate, though it’s simpler than it looks.
- Discount: Use Arccos Coupon code “BE15” to save 15%
- Our Reviews: Arccos Caddie Review; Arccos Air Review
- Solid Alternative: Does he already use Arccos? Get him the Link Pro so he can keep his phone in his bag at all times.
Arccos Golf provides tour-level statistics about every aspect of your golf game. And the ecosystem is more robust than ever.
Use code BE15 to save 15%.
Best Golf Rangefinder to Gift: Blue Tees Captain Pro
Blue Tees has been quietly building one of the most robust ecosystems in golf tech, and the Captain Pro is their best rangefinder to date. Fast, accurate, with a premium feel that punches well above its price point. It’s everything a golfer needs in a rangefinder: locked-on flag acquisition, slope compensation, and a strong magnet, all without paying for features you don’t need.
If you’re looking for a solid rangefinder with the benefit of some smart features at a great price, this is the one.
- Who is it for? Any golfer who wants a reliable, premium rangefinder at a fair price.
- Who isn’t it for? Someone who already has a rangefinder they love, or who prefers a GPS watch.
- Our Review: Blue Tees Captain Pro Review: My New Favorite Rangefinder?
- Solid Alternative: Voice Caddie TL1
Despite having some app issues, this is one of my favorite rangefinders I've tested and represents an excellent value for what you get. Highly recommended.
Use code BREAKINGEIGHTY10 to save 10%.
Best Golf Swing Training Gift: HackMotion Golf
If the golfer you’re shopping for has ever fought a slice (he has), chances are his wrists are a big part of why. HackMotion is a lightweight sensor that straps to your wrist and tracks your wrist angles in real time, giving you immediate feedback on what’s helping or hurting your swing.
It’s one of the most effective practice tools I’ve tested, especially for golfers who know something’s off but can’t figure out what.
The just-released 4th generation of the product is even more accurate than previous versions, and the app has improved dramatically as well.
- Who is it for? The golfer who wants data-driven answers to swing problems.
- Who isn’t it for? The golfer who doesn’t want to dig into mechanics or gets overwhelmed by data.
- Review: HackMotion Golf Review: Fix Your Wrists, Fix Your Swing
- Solid Alternatives: DeWiz Golf for even more wearable swing data.
Do you have an inconsistent swing and know wrist angle may be the culprit? There's not a better swing trainer on the market to help you fix it.
Best Golf Clubs to Gift: Stix Perform Golf Clubs
I was skeptical. A full set of clubs for around $1,000 that are actually good? After 20-plus rounds with them, I’m a believer. They look great, feel solid, and are fantastic for anyone from a brand new golfer to a mid-handicap. They also have a 30-day return policy, which limits the risk for someone just getting into the game.
The latest version of the Perform P02 has improved upon the originals in nearly every way and continues to impress.
- Who is it for? New golfers up to mid-handicaps looking for a complete set without breaking the bank.
- Who isn’t it for? Strong single-digit players or anyone with a hook tendency.
- Our Score: 9.4
- Discount: Use Stix coupon code “BE50” to save $50.
- Our Reviews: Stix Golf Clubs Review
- Solid Alternative: Stix Nicklaus Essentials. The perfect first set for a true beginner.
Stix has what we believe is the best complete set of clubs for under $1k. If you're a new golfer up to a mid-handicap - you should absolutely consider Stix for you next set of clubs.
Hottest Driver of 2026: Callaway Quantum Max
If you’re shopping for a serious golfer chasing more distance and consistency off the tee, that’s all of us, the Callaway Quantum Max is the driver I’d point to. I’m currently using the previous generation Callaway Elyte, and it’s wonderful. And the time I’ve spent with the latest model? More of the same.
- Who is it for? Anyone chasing more ball speed, lower spin, and better accuracy off the tee.
- Who isn’t it for? The golfer who’s already dialed in with a driver he loves.
- Our Review: The Callaway Elyte is the Hottest Driver of the Year (Previous Generation Review)
- Solid Alternative: TaylorMade Qi35 Max Driver — excellent consistency without sacrificing distance.
The Elyte was the best driver I've ever owned. Now the Quantum Max is a step forward from that. A brand-new Tri-Force Face and early test results that back up the hype make this the one to beat in 2026.
Best Putter Gift: Any L.A.B. Putter
Trust me, the golfer on your list has been eyeing a L.A.B. putter. Nearly every amateur golfer has. The Lie Angle Balance technology feels like a cheat code on the greens; the face stays square through the stroke in a way that’s hard to explain until you feel it.
This is the gift that’ll make him feel like he finally figured out putting.
Keep in mind their models are pretty different from one another, so if planning to do this, conisder gifting a fitting so that they can decide for themselves which one is right for them.
- Who is it for? The golfer looking for a genuine edge on the greens.
- Who isn’t it for? Traditionalists who want something more conventional-looking.
- Read First: Which LAB Putter is Right For You
- Solid Alternative: PXG Bat Attack ZT. This is my favorite putter of all time, but it definitely doesn’t have the cache and excitement as a lab.
- Want more options? Here are the 10 best putters right now.
If the DF3 isn't for you, then you might consider the Mezz.1 MAX. It's a different look that we've found easier to line up properly, and it's proven deadly on the course. Downside? It ain't cheap.
Best Golf Launch Monitor Under $1,500: FlightScope Mevo Gen 2
For the golfer who wants detailed swing feedback and the ability to play full simulator golf, the Mevo Gen 2 is the gift. More data metrics than anything near this price, no subscriptions, simulator-ready out of the box, and genuinely accurate numbers. It’s FlightScope’s main consumer model going forward and a serious upgrade over anything under $1,000.
- Who is it for? The golfer serious about improvement and/or simulator fun at home.
- Who isn’t it for? A casual player with no interest in practice.
- Discount: Use code “BREAKINGEIGHTYPLUS” to save 5%.
- Review: The Mevo Gen 2 is the Future of FlightScope
- Solid Alternative: Rapsodo MLM2PRO. Also a great option, but the FlightScope has better metrics and feels more “pro”.
The Mevo Gen 2 is the updated version of our longtime favorite Mevo Plus. Now that it provides the ability to upgrade to Pro Package and Impact Detection? It's an easy choice for our favorite overall.
Use Code BREAKINGEIGHTYPLUS to save 5%.
Best GPS Golf Watch: Garmin Approach S70
The Garmin Approach S70 is Garmin’s best dedicated golf watch (without going crazy for a MARQ edition). Beautiful OLED screen, Plays Like distances, Virtual Caddie, and all the fitness features that make Garmin the watch brand of choice for serious athletes.
I swapped out my Apple Watch Ultra for a Garmin and haven’t looked back. If the golfer in your life wants a watch that’s as useful off the course as on it, this is the one.
- Who is it for? The golfer who wants a premium smartwatch built around golf.
- Who isn’t it for? Someone who doesn’t wear a smartwatch at all.
- Our Review: Garmin Approach S70 Review: The Best Golf Watch Ever Made
- Solid Alternative: Garmin Approach S50 — similar experience, $300 less.
Let's make this very clear: the Garmin Approach S70 is Garmin's best golf-first watch. Period. If you're in the market for a watch, and this is in your budget? Just buy it.
Best Luxury Golf Bag: Vessel Lux Stand Bag
If you want to get Dad a bag he’ll use for years and brag about every time he pulls it out of the trunk, this is it. The Vessel Lux Stand takes everything great about the Player series, trims it down, and doesn’t sacrifice a thing. Easy to carry, beautifully made, and genuinely versatile. A really nice gift.
- Who is it for? The golfer who appreciates quality and wants a bag that looks as good as it performs.
- Who isn’t it for? Someone who needs maximum storage — there are bigger bags out there.
- Our Review: Why the Vessel Lux Stand Might Be My New Favorite Vessel Bag
- Solid Alternative: Sun Mountain Matchplay Stand Bag — great looking and a touch more affordable.
The Vessel Lux Stand is the most well-rounded bag Vessel has made to date. It's blends premium materials and carryability in a way that I've been waiting for for years. Highly recommended.
Best Affordable Golf Bag: Sunday Golf Ryder
Not every dad needs a $400 bag. Sometimes the best gift is something he’d never buy himself because he thinks it’s an indulgence, even when it’s not.
The Sunday Golf Ryder is that bag.
Lightweight, clean-looking, easy to carry, and priced in a range that feels genuinely accessible. It’s smaller than a full stand bag, which makes it perfect for walking rounds or shorter trips to the course. If he’s been hauling around an old beat-up bag for years, this is the upgrade he didn’t know he needed.
- Who is it for? The walking golfer who wants a stylish, functional bag without a premium price tag.
- Who isn’t it for? Someone who wants maximum club and gear storage — this bag keeps things minimal by design.
- Our Review: Sunday Golf Ryder Bag Review
- Solid Alternative: Jones Rover. A little more expensive, but makes up for it in cool factor.
The Ryder from Sunday Golf is a solid golf bag with lots of great features. It's perfect for those wanting a full-size bag, that's still on the lighter and smaller side. Click the link and you'll get a custom 15% discount pop-up on the site.
Best Golf Travel Gift: Sun Mountain Club Glider Meridian Travel Bag
If your dad travels to play golf, or has always wanted to, the Club Glider Meridian is a game-changer. Its secret weapon is a second set of retractable wheels that pop out and let the bag glide effortlessly through airports. Once you use it, every other travel bag feels like a step backwards.
- Who is it for? The traveling golfer who hates lugging clubs through airports.
- Who isn’t it for? The golfer who always rents clubs and never travels with his own.
- Our review: The Sun Mountain Club Glider Meridian: My Personal Favorite Golf Travel Bag
- Solid Alternative: Club Glove Pro Traveler.
The Sun Mountain Club Glider Meridian is a fantastic golf travel bag, with a very convenient "glider" system. It's not quite as robust and durable as the Club Glove Last Bag, but the unique design more than makes up for it.
Best Golf Gift for the Partier: Chippo Golf Set

Cornhole. But make it golf. That’s Chippo, and it is genuinely awesome. If your dad has BBQs, watches the game with friends, or tailgates — this is the gift that gets pulled out every single time.
- Who is it for? Anyone who loves golf and loves a good backyard hang.
- Who isn’t it for? People without friends. (Sorry.)
- Our Review: Chippo Golf Review: Yep, It’s Golf Cornhole at Its Finest
Love to throw parties, bbqs, and play golf? This is the ultimate backyard game for golf lovers.
Best Golf Magazine: The Golfer’s Journal
The Golfer’s Journal is what golf media should look like. Beautiful photography, great writing, and a quarterly format that actually makes you want to sit down and read it cover to cover. Unlike Golf Digest, this is something he’ll keep and return to. A subscription is the gift that keeps giving all year.
- Who is it for? The golfer who’s burned out on the same old golf media and wants something more thoughtful.
- Who isn’t it for? The golfer who thinks spending a premium price on a magazine is ridiculous.
- Solid Alternative: Hodinkee Magazine — same concept, covers the world of watches. If he’s a watch guy too, this is a must.
Right now I think The Golfers Journal is the best in the industry when it comes to combining fascinating stories, beautiful photography, and a sense of community. Their quarterly magazine is excellent and would make a great gift.
Best Golf Polo: Holderness and Bourne Maxwell
Of all the polos in my closet, the Maxwell has been one of my favorites for years. The fit is excellent, the performance holds up on the course, and it doesn’t sacrifice any of the traditional golf aesthetic to get there. A polo that’s just as at home at the 19th hole as it is on the first tee.
- Who is it for? The golfer who loves the tradition of the game but wants something that looks genuinely sharp.
- Who isn’t it for? The guy who’s perfectly happy with a polo from any big box store.
- Solid Alternatives: G/FORE Performance Pique. This is my other favorite polo.
Not only do Holderness and Bourne make some of the best golf polos in the world, they're run by two of the best people in the world. Great style, great comfort, great performance.
Best Golf Rain Gear: Forrester’s Golf Rain Jacket
When it comes to rain gear, most golfers either overpay for Galvin Green or end up with something that leaks after a few rounds. Forrester hits the sweet spot. After testing their rain jacket extensively, I came away genuinely impressed — it’s waterproof where it counts, comfortable to swing in, and doesn’t feel like you’re wearing a trash bag.
For a dad who plays through the weather no matter what, this is a gift he’ll actually use. Not to mention, Forrester’s definitely has some cool factor right now.
- Who is it for? The golfer who’s out there in all conditions and needs gear that won’t let him down.
- Who isn’t it for? The fair-weather golfer who only plays on sunny days.
- Our Review: Best Golf Rain Gear of 2026: Our Top Picks
- Solid Alternative: Anything from Galvin Green — just be ready to pay significantly more.
This jacket (and pant combo) has seriously impressed me. It's 3L, so super waterproof. It looks good. Is easy to golf in. And has a bunch of unexpected features. Highly recommended.
Use code BREAKINGEIGHTY15 to save 15%.
Best Golf Shoes to Gift: Payntr Eighty Seven SC
Payntr has been quietly building a cult following, and the Eighty Seven SC is their best shoe yet. Designed with Jason Day, it’s a perfect blend of serious performance and clean, athletic styling. Carbon fiber propulsion plate, PMXNitro+ midsole, fully waterproof, and it locks your foot in without feeling restrictive.
At $220, it’s a strong value for what you’re getting. They’ve also released a number of iterations of this, as well as some collabs with brands like Jones, Forrester’s, and Vessel. Any of those would be excellent choices as well.
- Who is it for? The golfer who wants a high-performance shoe that also looks great.
- Who isn’t it for? The minimalist who prefers a simple spikeless shoe.
- Our Review: The Eighty Seven SC is Payntr’s best shoe yet
- Solid Alternative: G/FORE G.112.2
Payntr takes all of the tech and performance they're known for and applies it to their best-looking shoe yet. Highly recommended.
Best Recovery Tool: HyperIce Venom 2
If there’s one recovery product I see more real golfers actually using in the real world, it’s the HyperIce Venom 2. And it makes total sense — back pain is the number one thing that keeps golfers off the course, and the Venom 2 addresses it better than anything else I’ve come across.
Whether it’s loosening up before a round or dealing with soreness the next day, this heated vibration wrap delivers real relief. It’s not a gimmick — it’s the kind of thing that, once someone tries it, becomes a permanent fixture in their routine. A perfect Father’s Day gift for the dad who’s always complaining about his back (aren’t they all?).
- Who is it for? Any golfer who deals with back tightness or soreness — before, during, or after a round.
- Who isn’t it for? The 25-year-old who thinks he’s invincible. (Give it a few years.)
- Solid Alternative: Chirp Contour Massage Table — a more serious investment, but one of the best recovery tools I’ve tested at any price.
Struggle with a tight back before or after golf? This is exactly what you've been looking for. Provides heat and massage and is the ultimate pre-round life hack.
Best Golf Fitness System: GolfForever
If the golfer in your life wants a workout that actually translates to better golf, GolfForever nails it. The kit pairs with 500-plus video workouts and builds out a personalized daily routine around mobility, core strength, and rotational power. It’s genuinely golf-specific — not just generic resistance band work — and the hardware is well-made and easy to set up.
- Who is it for? Golfers who want a guided fitness routine built specifically around improving their game.
- Who isn’t it for? Anyone who won’t actually use it consistently.
- Discount: Use code “BE15” to save 15%!
- Our Review: Is GolfForever the Ultimate Swing Trainer?
Looking for a golf training program that really works? This is without a doubt one of the best out there. Save 15% with the code BE15!
Best Bluetooth Speaker: Mileseey GeneSonic Pro
A year ago, I thought Mileseey was a budget Amazon brand. Then they sent me the GenePro G1 rangefinder and completely changed my opinion. Now they’ve done the same thing with golf speakers.
The GeneSonic Pro has a trick no other speaker has: a detachable GPS remote with a built-in GPS chip, meaning you get yardages without needing your phone paired or nearby. The remote doubles as a full speaker controller — volume, track skipping, all of it. Sound quality is excellent, the magnet is strong, and the screen is one of the better ones I’ve seen on a golf speaker.
At $270 after discount (use code BREAKINGEIGHTY), it’s more than the Blue Tees Player+, but the detachable GPS alone justifies the gap for the right golfer.
- Who is it for? The golfer who wants great sound and GPS distances — without relying on his phone for either.
- Who isn’t it for? Traditionalists who think music has no place on the golf course.
- Discount: Use code “BREAKINGEIGHTY” to save 10%.
- Our Review: Is the Mileseey GeneSonic Pro the New King of Bluetooth Golf Speakers?
- Solid Alternative: Blue Tees Player+ — still excellent, and about $120 less.
The first Bluetooth golf speaker to give you GPS yardages without needing to be paired to a phone. Combine this with the removable remote, and you've got our favorite speaker on the market.
Best Tour Golf Balls: Titleist ProV1 or ProV1x
Look, there are balls that perform at the level of the ProV1 and cost less. But when it comes to gifting? Just go with the ProV1s. There’s no better golf gift to unwrap. Every golfer knows what they are, every golfer wants them, and finding one in the rough still feels like a small miracle. No one has ever been disappointed to receive a box.
- Who is it for? Any golfer who’s past the beginner stage. This is the gift you can’t go wrong with.
- Who is it not for? The absolute beginner who’s going to lose a sleeve on hole one.
- Review: Is the Titleist ProV1 Still the Best Golf Ball?
- Solid Alternatives: Vice Pro Plus — similar performance, lower cost. Callaway Chrome Tour — Callaway’s excellent answer to the ProV1.
There's a reason the ProV1 and ProV1x are the most well-known balls in golf, they're just that good. Not much more you need to say here. If they're in your budget? Buy em.
Best Thoughtful Gift: Seamus Golf Headcovers

Seamus headcovers are one of those gifts where the golfer immediately knows you did your homework. They’re beautifully made, highly personalized, and the kind of thing someone might not splurge on themselves. I bought Seamus driver covers for both my dad and my father-in-law on our wedding day. Still one of my favorite gifts I’ve ever given.
- Who is it for? The golfer who appreciates craft and wants something genuinely personal.
- Who isn’t it for? The brand loyalist who won’t put anything on his clubs that doesn’t have a logo on it.
- Review: Seamus Golf: The Best Headcovers in the Business
Not only do they have the best headcovers in the business, but they've expanded far beyond that. Seamus is quite simply the coolest accessory brand in golf. Everyone should have at least one Seamus piece in their bag.
Best Golf Bag Addition: MagnetOwl
Twenty bucks, and it immediately becomes one of the most-used things in his bag. MagnetOwl is a magnetic clip with a removable ball marker that attaches your golf towel directly to your clubs or cart — meaning it’s always right there when you need it. Simple idea, perfectly executed.
- Who is it for? The golfer who appreciates the small things that make a round more convenient.
- Who is it not for? The golfer who always has a caddie and doesn’t need to grab his own towel.
The kind of product you'd never know you need, until you realize just how convenient it is to use.
