Substantially updated in October 2025 to reflect our first-hand thoughts on the best golf gifts for the 2025 Holiday Season.
I get it, trying to find the best golf gift idea for any golfer in your life can be really difficult.
There are thousands of different golf products out there, and if you listen to the marketing, they’re all touting themselves as the “latest and greatest”.
But most of them? They aren’t very good.
Luckily, I’ve used and reviewed dozens of the best golf products on the market. So whether you’re looking for a gift for Christmas, Father’s Day or a birthday, I’m going to help you find the very best golf gifts for the golfer in your family – regardless of budget.
Being that it’s that time of year again, we’ve updated this post for October 2025 to reflect all of the latest products heading into this year’s holiday season. We have something for every price point and type of golfer in your life.
And the good news? This year, there are more great golfing gifts out there than ever before.
Table of Contents
The Very Best Golf Gift: Arccos Smart Sensors
For the last five-plus years, my best gift recommendation has come from Arccos Golf.
This isn’t just me picking a random product, either.
This is legitimately my most gifted golf product of the past few years – I’ve probably given a half dozen of them as gifts to different people in my life.
Their Arccos Smart Sensors and Smart Grips are honestly some of the coolest and most useful golf products on the market.
Why?
Essentially, they track every shot you hit so that you get statistics about your game that were previously only available to Tour players.
Whether you’re looking for a gift for a gadget lover, scratch golfer, or for the person just getting going – this will help all of them.
They have two products to choose from the Smart Sensors and Smart Grips.
For the diehard, better golfer, the Grips are more seamless and it’s what I personally use.
But as a gift or if you’re unsure of what to get, the sensors may be a better bet.
Something to note is that after the first year, there is a $200/year subscription fee to use Arccos. So, you’ve got to be mindful of that when you consider your gift recipient and what kind of cost they might be interested in absorbing.
- Who is it for? The person who plays at least once a week and loves to geek out about stats and review every shot of every round they play.
- Who isn’t it for? The device is very simple to use, but I wouldn’t recommend it for people who are totally tech-illiterate.
- Discount: Use Arccos Coupon code “BE15” to save 15%
- Our Reviews: Arccos Caddie Review – Game-Changing Golf Grips and Sensors; Arccos Link Pro Review
- Solid Alternative: Do they already use Arccos? Get them the Link Pro so that they can keep their phone in their bag all round.
Ever wanted Tour left analytics on your game from every round you play? With Arccos Caddie, it's possible. This is one of our absolute favorite golf products. Use code "BE15" for 15% off (Final price $170).
Best Golf Swing Training Gift: HackMotion Golf
If the golfer you’re shopping for has ever fought a slice or struggled to square the clubface at impact (they have), chances are their wrists are to blame. That’s where the HackMotion comes in. This high-tech swing trainer focuses on one thing, tracking your wrist angles. And it does it better than anything else on the market.
Slip the lightweight sensor on your wrist, connect to the app, and you’ll see real-time feedback on whether your wrist position is helping or hurting your swing. It’s not only eye-opening, but it also gives you data you need to start making meaningful changes.
The HackMotion is especially powerful for golfers who know they’re losing shots with an inconsistent release or face angle. This is one of the most effective practice tools you can buy.
- Who is it for? The golfer who wants precise, real-time wrist data to fix slices, square the clubface, and gain consistency.
- Who isn’t it for? The golfer who doesn’t want to dig into swing mechanics or who gets overwhelmed by too much data.
- Review: HackMotion Golf Review: Fix Your Wrists, Fix Your Swing
- Solid Alternatives: DeWiz Golf – If you’re willing to spend a little bit more, this is the ultimate wearable device for improving your golf swing and fixing your slice. Or Blast Motion is a solid, simpler, and more affordable alternative.
Do you have an inconsistent swing and know wrist angle may be the culprit? There's not a better swing trainer on the market to help you fix it.
Best Golf Clubs to Gift: Stix Perform Golf Clubs
I was highly skeptical about Stix golf clubs. A full set of clubs, for around $1,000, that are actually good?
No way. Can’t be done.
But it can, and it has been done.
After over 20 rounds with Stix Clubs, I’m legitimately impressed. They look good, they feel good, and they’re fantastic for the new golfer to mid-handicap who’s looking for a set of clubs to fix their slice and make them more consistent. In fact, I’d go as far to say that they’re the best golf clubs for beginners.
They have a great 30-day return policy as well. So if you’re looking to buy a new golfer in your life a set of clubs, and are overwhelmed with where to start? Look no further, Stix is probably your best answer.
And they keep coming out with more and better options, including the new Nicklaus branded sets for men and women, a new putter, and a new driver. So there are choices all the way down to buying an individual club if you decide not to go with a full set.
- Who is it for? Anyone from a brand new golfer to a mid-handicap, who’s looking for a full set of clubs without breaking the bank
- Who isn’t it for? If you have a hook tendency or if you’re a strong single-digit or better, these aren’t for you.
- Our Score: 9.4
- Discount: Use Stix coupon code “BE50” to save $50 off your first order.
- Our Reviews: Stix Golf Clubs Review: Is it the Best Value in Golf?; Stix x Nicklaus Clubs: Perfect First Set for Women; Stix Nicklaus Full Set Review
- Solid Alternative: Stix Play Clubs – Stix just released these, and they’re the perfect first set for someone just starting out in golf.
Stix has what we believe is the best complete set of clubs for under $1k. If you're a new golfer up to a mid-handicap - you should absolutely consider Stix for you next set of clubs.
Hottest Driver of 2025: Callaway Elyte
Alright, if you’re shopping for a serious golfer who’s desperately chasing more distance and consistency off the tee (that’s all of us), here’s the driver that I think delivers the best performance in 2025.
In my testing, the Callaway Elyte gave me more yards and a tighter dispersion than anything else I’ve tried this year. It was an easy add to my bag, and it might be the same for the golfer on your list.
- Who is it for? Anyone chasing more ball speed, lower spin, and better accuracy.
- Who isn’t it for? The golfer who’s already got the driver that fits their game. If it ain’t broke…
- Our Review: The Callaway Elyte is the Hottest Driver of the Year
- Solid Alternative: TaylorMade Qi35 Max Driver – a 10K driver that affords better consistency without sacrificing as much distance as previous 10K models.
This one definitely added yards (both carry and total) for me. And I think it's extremely forgiving. Put it all together, and it's no wonder this driver is very popular in 2025.
Best Putter Gift: L.A.B. Mezz.1 Max
Trust me, the golfer on your list has been eyeing a L.A.B. putter. Every golfer has. This “Lie Angle Balance” technology has been one of the most hyped breakthroughs in recent memory.
Some golfers say using this thing is like cheating. And in my testing? I can see why.
- Who is it for? The golfer looking for the ultimate edge on the greens.
- Who isn’t it for? Someone who wants something more conventional. This putter definitely looks odd to traditionalists.
- Solid Alternative: PXG Bat Attack ZT – L.A.B. aren’t the only ones making these new zero-torque putters. The Bat Attack ZT is another great option.
- Want to see more putters? Here are the 10 best of 2025.
If the DF3 isn't for you, then you might consider the Mezz.1 MAX. It's a different look that we've found easier to line up properly, and it's proven deadly on the course. Downside? It ain't cheap.
Best Golf Launch Monitor Under $1,500: FlightScope Mevo Gen 2
If you’re looking for a really nice gift for the golfer who wants detailed feedback about their swing and the potential to play full-blown simulator golf, it’s tough to beat the FlightScope Mevo Gen 2.
Among the many reasons your golfer is going to love this gift:
- It delivers more data metrics than any launch monitor near this price point
- No subscriptions
- Simulator ready right out of the box
- Unmatched accuracy
Now, something to know… The Gen 2 is the eventual replacement for FlightScope’s Mevo+ launch monitor. And for as long as they last, FlightScope has slashed the price on the Mevo+. Add in the “BREAKINGEIGHTYPLUS” 5% discount code, and you can get a Mevo+ for $1,424.05.
That’s only about $100 more than the Mevo Gen 2, and with the Mevo+ you’ve got the option to add in the Pro Package and Face Impact Location upgrades for even more feedback. So, for as long as it’s available, this Mevo+ deal might be too good to pass up. Read more below in our Best Premium Golf Simulator section.
Or, just grab the Gen 2. It’s going to be FlightScope’s flagship going forward, it delivers better accuracy than the sub-$1,000 golf launch monitors for just a little bit more money, and whoever you’re shopping for is going to be thrilled.
- Who is it for? The golfer interested in serious swing-improvement feedback and/or golf simulator fun.
- Who isn’t it for? A more casual player not interested in putting in the extra time real improvement requires.
- Discount: Use code “BREAKINGEIGHTYPLUS” to save 5%.
- Review: The Mevo Gen 2 is the Future of FlightScope
- Solid Alternative: As noted above (and in a below section), you’ve got a limited-time option to buy a Mevo+ for just a bit more than the Gen 2. For the right golfer, that will be the better play.
Use Code BREAKINGEIGHTYPLUS to save 5%! The new FlightScope Mevo Gen 2 is basically a base Mevo Plus for a fraction of the price. And that alone is enough to make this one of the best launch monitor buys in golf.
Best Golf Launch Monitor Under $1,000: Rapsodo MLM2PRO
Rapsodo’s follow-up to the wildly popular MLM keeps doing something rare in golf tech: It gets meaningfully better without getting more expensive.
With the 2025 update, the MLM2PRO now directly measures club path and angle of attack – a huge win at this price point – while still packing dual high-speed cameras plus Doppler radar at $699.
On-range or indoors, setup is quick and alignment is easier than ever thanks to the built-in leveling tool. The experience shines in practice modes like Combine, Rapsodo Range, and the built-in simulator options.
The tradeoff is that most of the coolest features live behind the Premium membership. But you now get a 45-day trial, then it’s $199 a year or a $499 lifetime unlock. Given how much the platform delivers, it’s an easy case to make for those who want to get serious practice.
- Who is it for? The person who loves to grind on the range and/or wants to build an at home simulator or practice studio without breaking the bank.
- Who isn’t it for? The person who has no interest in practicing.
- Review: Rapsodo MLM 2 Pro Review: Does it Live Up to the Hype?
- Solid Alternative: Garmin Approach R10 – This is nearly as good, quite a bit cheaper, and its subscription isn’t nearly as essential as the Rapsodo one. Also very highly recommended.
Rapsodo has knocked it out of the park with the MLM2PRO. This is hands-down the best launch monitor under $1,000, and it even gives more expensive competitors a run for their money.
Best Golf Launch Monitor Under $500: Voice Caddie SC4 Pro
The original SC4 was already one of the best values in golf tech, but the new SC4 Pro takes a huge leap forward.
You still get the built-in screen, remote control, and E6 Connect mobile simulation with no subscription, but now the upgraded app and new ProMetrics engine add spin axis, side spin, backspin, and dispersion for a much richer practice experience.
The new Voice Caddie S app is a massive improvement over the clunky old version, with a 3D range that feels far more premium than you’d expect for the price. Accuracy isn’t perfect – wedge and driver can be a little hit or miss – but for irons it’s surprisingly solid both indoors and out.
Considering Breaking Eighty readers get it for $499 instead of $599, it’s easily one of the best launch monitors you can buy at this level.
- Who is it for? The golfer who wants a budget-friendly launch monitor with simulator access, a great app, and just enough data to keep practice fun and useful.
- Who isn’t it for? Once again, the person who has no interest in practicing.
- Discount: $499 (exclusive for Breaking Eighty readers)
- Review: Swing Caddie SC4: The Best Launch Monitor Under $500?
- Solid Alternative: Rapsodo MLM. Not the most accurate, but for under $300 it’s a really solid affordable option.
- Comparison: Here’s a comparison of the best launch monitors under $1,000
A fantastic launch monitor at a great price. If you're looking to dial in your distances, but not spend thousands on a Pro-Level Flightscope or Trackman? This is for you. And at under $300 now? It's the most accurate device at that price point.
Best Premium Golf Simulator: FlightScope Mevo+
Ok, this could have also fallen under the category of “best golf launch monitor” but the fact is, the FlightScope Mevo+ is the best product for most people who want a high-end simulator or launch monitor experience, without going totally crazy price-wise.
The Mevo Plus isn’t cheap.
But it’s also far less than competitors while being more user-friendly and feature-heavy.
And right now, it’s less expensive than I’ve ever seen it before. If this one’s a possibility, I’d strongly encourage you to buy at this price. FlightScope just dropped the price from $2,299 to $1,499. And with code BREAKINGEIGHTYPLUS, you can get it for $1,424.05! That’s an insane deal!
If you’re looking for a splurge gift for a significant other who has been wanting to practice more, or build a golf simulator for home, this is a gift that anyone would love to receive.
- Who it’s for? Someone who is serious about golf and wants one of the best pieces of tech for improving their game and making practice more enjoyable and productive.
- Who isn’t it for? People who don’t want to practice, or aren’t into dealing with technology.
- Discount: Use code “BREAKINGEIGHTYPLUS” for 5% off.
- Review: FlightScope Mevo+ Review: Our Pick for Best Overall Launch Monitor
- Solid Alternative: Bushnell Launch Pro. Want an even more accurate launch monitor to give as a gift? Try this. The downside here is the annual subscription fee can make it a tricky option to gift if you don’t share finances.
Simply put this is the closet you're going to get to a "pro" level launch monitor at a budget price. Granted $2k isn't exactly budget, but for what you get? This is a fantastic value. Use code "BREAKINGEIGHTYPLUS" to get an additional 5% off!
Best Golf Rangefinder to Gift: Voice Caddie TL1
The Voice Caddie TL1 is one of the best all-around rangefinders I’ve ever used. But when I first reviewed it, it cost $449.
And at that price, there’s a lot of stiff competition.
But then they dropped the price to $349.
And right now? It’s down to $280 for Breaking Eighty readers. This is absolutely insane.
This device is fast, accurate, has a dual color OLED screen (rare), a magnet, and excellent build quality.
At this price, this is the very best rangefinder most people should be buying.
- Who is it for? The golfer who wants a premium, durable, fast rangefinder.
- Who isn’t it for? Someone who’s already satisfied with their rangefinder or who prefers a golf watch or handheld GPS device.
- Our Review: Voice Caddie TL1 Review: A Wonderful Golf Rangefinder
- Solid Alternative: Bushnell Tour V6 Shift
At this special Breaking Eighty reader price of $280, there's no other rangefinder that provides this level of quality at such an affordable price. Hands down the best option under $300.
Best Cutting-Edge Tech Rangefinder: Mileseey GenePro G1
Now, I wouldn’t recommend this rangefinder to just any golfer. But if you’re shopping for a true gear head, someone who really wants the latest, most innovative tech, here it is. The Mileseey GenePro G1 is loaded!
But… It’s $500. So, like I said, it’s not for everyone, and you do not have to spend this much to get a great rangefinder.
Where the Mileseey justifies that stiff asking price is with incredibly cool features like a full-color AMOLED screen on the side of the rangefinder that shows you GPS maps of the hole you’re playing.
The GenePro G1 also includes triangulation, allowing you to shoot two targets (say the flag and your golf ball) to get distances between the two even if you’re far away. That comes in handy in scenarios like cart-path-only days where you can calculate the distance from your ball to the pin so you know which club to carry across the fairway for your next shot.
It goes on from there. This is the kitchen sink of rangefinders. And if you’re shopping for someone who wants all the bells and whistles, this one is going to impress them.
- Who is it for? The golfer who wants all of the most advanced features packed into one rangefinder.
- Who isn’t it for? Someone who is fine with something more basic (and affordable).
- Discount: Use code “BREAKINGEIGHTY” to save 10%.
- Our Review: Does the Mileseey GenePro G1 Do TOO Much?
- Solid Alternative: Garmin Approach Z30 – Another rangefinder that incorporates GPS (and a lot more). If your golfer is already a Garmin user, this is the one to get.
The Mileseey GenePro G1 is what I'm calling the Kitchen Sink Rangefinder, because it has just about everything you could want.
Best GPS Golf Watch: Garmin Approach S70
The Garmin Approach S70 is quite simply the best dedicated golf watch ever made. It’s a few years old now, but it’s still holding its own and still makes for an outstanding golf gift.
It has a beautiful OLED screen, enhanced “Plays Like” and Virtual Caddie features, and it has all of the fitness features and health features that make Garmin the favored watch brand of millions of athletes.
I never thought I’d trade in my Apple Watch Ultra for day-to-day wear, but after wearing Garmin watches for the last couple years? I’m a convert.
If you’re looking to buy the serious golfer in your life a golf watch, this is 100% the one to get.
- Who is it for? The person who wants a watch that can be just as useful off the course as it is on it.
- Who isn’t it for? Someone who doesn’t wear a smartwatch.
- Our Review: Garmin Approach S70 Review: The Best Golf Watch Ever Made.
- Solid alternative: Garmin Approach S50. If they don’t care about every single golf feature detail and want something a little more basic that costs $300 less, the S50 just might be the sweet spot in the Garmin golf watch line.
Let's make this very clear: the Garmin Approach S70 is Garmin's best golf-first watch. Period. If you're in the market for a watch, and this is in your budget? Just buy it.
Best Premium Fitness-Tracking Golf Watch: Garmin Venu X1
If you want flagship Garmin golf features and a daily-wear fitness watch, the Venu X1 is just about perfect.
And for Apple Watch devotees, this is Garmin’s square-screened answer.
Its thin, square design (just 8mm thick) houses Garmin’s best-looking screen yet, with fast GPS lock, full-color course maps, PlaysLike distances, and optional green contours via the Garmin Golf membership.
Off the course, the Venu X1 is a monster, packed with all of Garmin’s most advanced fitness and lifestyle features.
And the nylon strap makes it super comfortable to wear even while you’re sleeping.
- Who is it for? Golfers who want a sleek, everyday Garmin that nails fitness tracking and delivers true flagship golf features with a gorgeous display.
- Who isn’t it for? As a touchscreen watch, the Venu X1 won’t be for button loyalists.
- Our Review: The Garmin Venu X1: I Wasn’t Expecting This
- Solid Alternative: Garmin Fenix 8 – Longer battery life, five-button control, multiband GPS, and rugged outdoor chops.
To my eyes, this is the best-looking Garmin watch screen ever. In fact, this is the watch I'm wearing daily right now. For my lifestyle, it's a winner on and off the course.
Best Rangefinder or Golf Watch Alternative: Garmin G20 Solar GPS
If you’re shopping for a forgetful golfer, someone who doesn’t remember to charge their gear before their rounds, the Garmin G20 Solar might be the perfect gift.
Its built-in solar panel actually works better than expected, topping up the battery in just a little bit of time out in the sun. Combine that with Garmin’s usual dead-on GPS accuracy, and you’ve got a reliable device that can clip to your bag or stick magnetically to a cart.
Navigation is simple with button controls. No color maps, no fancy visuals, but all of the information is exactly what any golfers wants to know. Front/center/back numbers, distances to hazards, a basic hole map, etc.
It is $300, which is a bit pricey for a hand-held GPS. But if you love the idea of never worrying about charging and want to tap into Garmin’s growing golf ecosystem, the G20 is a fun and practical pick.
- Who is it for? The golfer who needs a distance device but always forgets to charge theirs.
- Who isn’t it for? Golfers who want even more detailed information, like what they’d get from an advanced golf watch or rangefinder.
- Our Review: See our Review of the Garmin G20 here.
- Solid Alternative: Garmin Approach G12. A fantastic GPS, that is a better fit for your pocket, than the cart.
The G20's built-in solar panel means you'll never have to worry about charging your GPS device.
Best Golf Bag to Gift: Stitch Golf MIY SL2
The Stitch SL2 has been one of the best-looking bags in golf for years and routinely got my pick for “best gift golf bag.”
But with the release of their SL2 MIY (Make it Yours) bag, I’m changing my tune. This Stitch bag is the perfect gift if you want to give something truly personal. You can customize everything – the chassis, strap, saddle pocket color. You can even add your initials.
You get more space, additional customization, and a bag that’s seriously unlike anything else on the market. And the bag is absolutely beautiful.
It’s not the cheapest bag on the market, but if the golfer in your life is someone who likes to carry their clubs and has an appreciation for style? This is the gift for you.
- Who is it for? A golfer that wants something a little more unique than your typical golf bag.
- Who isn’t it for? People who only ride in carts and never walk
- Discount: Use code BE20 for 20% anything at Stitch.
- Our Review: The Stitch SL2 MIY is One of the Most Unique Bags in Golf
- Solid Alternative: If you like the overall style of this SL2 but don’t want to spend as much, check out the Stitch Air Walker. It’s their lightest bag yet.
- Other Golf Bags: These aren’t for you? See our full list of the best golf bags out there.
Stitch already makes some of the most beautiful bags in golf, but now they make one of the most customizable as well. There isn't anything else like this one the market. Use code "BE20" to save 20%!
Best Luxury Bag: Vessel Lux Stand Bag
Alright, if you want to get someone a really nice golf bag – something that’s going to last for a really long time, be as functional as any other option, and look really, really nice, this is my favorite choice.
I love this golf bag. It takes everything that was great about Vessel’s Player series bags, shrinks it down by about 20 percent, and does so without losing anything. It’s an easy-to-carry, versatile golf bag that’s made exceptionally well.
In other words, a really nice gift.
- Who is it for? For the golfer who appreciate quality and really likes having nice gear.
- Who isn’t it for? Someone who wants maximum storage. There are bigger bags out there that can carry more.
- Our Review: Why the Vessel Lux Stand Might Be My New Favorite Vessel Bag
- Solid Alternative: Sun Mountain Matchplay Stand Bag – Great looking, comfortable, functional; this is a great luxury alternative.
The Vessel Lux Stand is the most well-rounded bag Vessel has made to date. It's blends premium materials and carryability in a way that I've been waiting for for years. Highly recommended.
Coolest Golf Bag: Jones Rover Stand Bag
I think this is one of the best-looking bags on the market. In fact, I think it’s the coolest overall bag.
It’s just got swag and style in all the right ways. Nothing at all over the top. Totally understated quality and functionality. It’s a golf bag for golfers who are totally into the game but want to play with a little bit of taste and style.
- Who is it for? If the golfer you’re shopping for wears interesting, high-quality clothes and shoes, they’ll like this bag.
- Who isn’t it for? Some golfers, believe it or not, only want to carry the big giant logos of the big giant brands. This bag is not for them. Also, this isn’t the choice for someone who rides for most of their rounds or who wants a big bag for lots of stuff.
- Our Review: The Best Minimalist Golf Bag
Our top pick for a golf bag that's easy to carry and exceptionally cool looking. The perfect option for the minimalist golfer with class.
Best Golf Bag for Kids: Sunday Golf Recess
I speak from the perspective of a father here. My nearly 5-year-old daughter has a Recess bag, and she absolutely loves it! It might be the biggest reason she gets excited to go to the golf course.
This bag is great. It comes in multiple styles to appeal to boys and girls, and it’s available in two sizes (5–8-year-olds and 9–12-year-olds).
- Who is it for? Casual-playing kids anywhere between 5 and 12 years old.
- Who isn’t it for? Anyone older than 12, and probably not the right pick for the super-serious, very competitive junior player.
- Discount: Click this link, add to cart, and you’ll get a popup to save 15% as a Breaking Eighty reader.
- Solid Alternative: Sunday Ryder – This bag isn’t marketed as a kid’s bag, but I like it for juniors because it’s a little bit smaller and not too overwhelming.
Available in multiple styles for multiple ages. If your kid is anything like mine, they'll love this bag! Save 15% as a Breaking Eighty reader.
Best Premium Cart Bag: Vessel Lux Cart 2.0
If you’re shopping for someone who takes a cart for most of their rounds, having a dedicated cart bag makes life on the course a lot more comfortable. These are the bags that, while too heavy for walking rounds, give you the most storage options when riding.
And of all the cart bags I’ve used, the Vessel Lux Cart 2.0 is the definitive best. The standard edition of this bag has 21 pockets, and if you upgrade to the Pro version, you get 30 pockets! Yes, 30 pockets!
Beyond the functionality, any Vessel bag is going to be made of the highest-quality materials. That’s one thing about this brand: You always know you’re going to be getting an extremely well-designed, well-constructed product.
So, if you’ve got a pack rat on your list, or just someone who appreciates quality and likes to take a cart, this bag gets my highest recommendation.
- Who is it for? The golfer who loves to ride, wants to haul a lot of stuff, and appreciates quality.
- Who isn’t it for? The walking golfer or anyone looking for something more basic.
- Our Review: The Vessel Lux Cart 2.0 is the Gold Standard of Cart Bags
- Solid Alternative: Sunday Golf Big Rig – It’s not quite the build quality of a Vessel, but the price is also a lot more reasonable, and this bag is just as functional.
Looking for the best luxury cart bag and money is no issue? These latest bags from Vessel are the ones I'd buy in this segment.
Best Golf Travel Gift: Sun Mountain Club Glider Meridian Travel Bag
Traveling with golf clubs is usually a hassle, but the Sun Mountain Club Glider Meridian makes it shockingly easy. Its secret weapon is the extra set of retractable wheels that pop out with a lever, letting the bag glide effortlessly through airports, parking lots, and hotel lobbies.
Once you try this travel bag, there’s no going back. If you want to spoil the traveling golfer in your life, here’s how you do it.
The bag itself looks sharp, has smartly placed external shoe pockets, and provides plenty of room for a standard stand or cart bag. While it’s not quite as bulletproof as the Club Glove Last Bag, the build quality is still very solid and more than enough for most golfers who fly a handful of times a year.
At $339, it’s a serious investment. But this is one of the most practical and game-changing golf travel bags on the market.
- Who is it for? The traveling golfer who wants maximum convenience and hates lugging heavy clubs through airports.
- Who isn’t it for? The person who hates traveling with clubs and rents everywhere they go.
- Our review: The Sun Mountain Club Glider Meridian: My Personal Favorite Golf Travel Bag
- Solid Alternative: Club Glove Last Bag – A little more rugged and durable, but without the effortless glide system.
The Sun Mountain Club Glider Meridian is a fantastic golf travel bag, with a very convenient "glider" system. It's not quite as robust and durable as the Club Glove Last Bag, but the unique design more than makes up for it.
Most Compact Golf Push Cart: Big Max Blade IP2
There are a lot of great golf push carts to choose from. And while the Blade IP2 isn’t the only option worth checking out, it is our pick if you’re shopping for a golfer with tight storage space.
That’s because this cart folds down so flat that it makes storage far simpler than with any other cart. That comes in handy when you’re talking about tight trunk space, cramped closets, or any other areas where storing a normally bulky push cart can be a challenge.
Beyond the flat-fold feature, this is just an extremely durable, well-built, totally functional push cart. Perfect for walking rounds.
- Who is it for? The walking golfer who wants something that’s easier to store than the typical bulky push carts.
- Who isn’t it for? Anyone who rides most of their rounds instead of walking.
- Our Review: The Big Max Blade IP2 – The Flattest Fold in Golf
- Solid Alternative: Sun Mountain Ridgeline 3 – It’s not quite as compact, but feature-wise, this cart’s got it all.
This cart folds down to only five-inches wide. That's a huge advantage for anyone with tight trunk or storage space. It also works with any type of golf bag. There's a lot to like. But I sure do wish it came with a cupholder...
Best Golf Gift for the Partier: Chippo Golf Set
Who doesn’t love a game of cornhole with a red solo cup in hand, during a summer night’s BBQ?
The only thing missing? Golf, duh.
Chippo is the answer for that.
It’s cornhole, but it’s golf – and it’s awesome.
- Who is it for? If you’re someone who ever has BBQs, parties, tailgates, or any other gathering of golfers, this is one game you’re going to want to have in your arsenal.
- Who isn’t it for? People without friends. Sorry, just callin’ it like it is.
- Our Review: Chippo Golf Review: Yep, It’s Golf Cornhole at Its Finest.
Love to throw parties, bbqs, and play golf? This is the ultimate backyard game for golf lovers.
Best Gift for a Hot (or Cold Day): SIC Cups
SIC stands for “Seriously Ice Cold” and I’ve gotta say – they live up to the name.
There are thousands of coffee tumblers, water bottles, mugs etc. out there.
But of the dozens of bottles I’ve used, I continue to go back to SIC. These things are fantastic.
The cups keep drinks hot or cold just as well as my Yeti tumblers do and do it for less money.
The ones I received also have a golf ball design on them, that is more subtle than it sounds and is a perfect nod to golf for the golfer in your life.
They have a variety of sizes and styles to choose from as well.
- Who is it for? Honestly? Anyone. You don’t even have to be a golfer to appreciate how well these SIC products work.
- Who isn’t it for? Hmm… People who like room-temperature beverages?
- Our Review: SIC Water Bottle Review: It’s my favorite water bottle ever.
No joke, this is my favorite water bottle ever. I use it every single day, and it comes in a bunch of different sizes and styles. But this 27oz is my personal favorite.
Best Gift for the Home Course: GolfLogix Green Books
GolfLogix Green and Yardage Books were a surprising product to me when they came out. For a company that made a name for itself with a mobile phone app, to create an analog yardage book was an interesting move.
But these books are incredibly detailed, and if the golfer in your life has a home course they play day in and day out, one of these books will make a fantastic gift that will help them shave a few strokes off each round.
They aren’t exactly cheap at $30-50, but that’s why it can make a great gift for someone who might not ordinarily buy one for themselves.
- Who is it for? The golfer who would value deep detail about a course they play regularly.
- Who isn’t it for? Someone who’s already getting their information from a golf watch, GPS, or other device.
- Our Review: GolfLogix Green Books
- Solid Alternative: PuttView Books – Very similar to the Golf Logix Books, with even more detail.
Want a leg up on your golf buddies? These green and yardage books from GolfLogix will give you more information than you've ever had before about greens, breaks, and yardages. Definitely worth it for a course you play frequently.
Best Golf Books for a Gift
Let’s face it, in terms of something easy and affordable, there probably isn’t a better golf gift than a golf book.
Here are a few of my favorites that I’d recommend:
- PGA Tour: Slaying the Tiger – A Year Inside the Ropes of the New PGA Tour
- Biography: Phil: The Unauthorized Biography of Golf’s Most Colorful Superstar
- Architecture: The Anatomy of a Golf Course
- Exclusive Courses: How to Play the World’s Most Exclusive Golf Clubs
- Travel: A Course Called Ireland
- Coffee Table: 1001 Courses to Play Before You Die
- Non-Fiction: The Match
Need more? Check out my recommendation for the best golf books on the market.
Best Golf Magazine: The Golfer’s Journal
I’m not sure there is anyone out there pushing golf content and community forward more than The Golfer’s Journal.
They’ve taken their passion for the game and not only created a beautiful magazine, but they’ve expanded into merchandise and events, with a fiercely loyal following.
The stories are great. The photos are beautiful. And whether you’re looking for a piece of Broken Tee merch, or want to read the quarterly physical magazine. This would make an excellent gift to the diehard golfer in your life.
There’s been a rising trend lately of interest in premium magazines. Most of them are in the $30-40 an issue range and come out 2-4 times a year.
In the golf space, Golfer’s Journal is probably my favorite. They do an awesome job with their photography, writing – and it simply makes you want to go out and golf.
They aren’t cheap, but unlike your typical issue of Golf Digest, it’s something you’ll collect and return to regularly.
- Who it is for? The golfer who is sick of the traditional golf magazines and looking for something new.
- Who isn’t it for? The people who think spending a premium price on a “magazine” is stupid.
- Solid Alternative: Hodinkee Magazine. Same concept but covers the world of horology and watches. If the golfer in your life also has a thing for nice timepieces, this is a MUST have.
Right now I think The Golfers Journal is the best in the industry when it comes to combining fascinating stories, beautiful photography, and a sense of community. Their quarterly magazine is excellent and would make a great gift.
Best Golf Video Game: Golf+
I’ve played a lot of golf video games over the years, but not a single one has been as good as Golf+ on the Meta Quest 3.
Formerly called “Top Golf Pro Putt,” Golf+ is hands down the most realistic golf video game short of actually playing a round on a course or simulator.
You can play full courses like Valhalla or Wolf Creek, or even play at a Top Golf range with your friends. Regardless of which way you go, these are among the most realistic experiences I’ve ever had playing VR.
The Golf+ game itself is only 30 bucks, and it absolutely shines on the Quest 3. If you want to go big, gift the Quest 3 and add Golf+. It’s the ultimate VR golf setup, and they’ll love you for life.
- Who is it for? People who are excited about the prospects of VR.
- Who isn’t it for? People who have zero interest in playing a virtual reality game.
- Solid Alternative: PGA Tour 2k23
Best Golf Glove: North Coast Golf Gloves
I love supporting smaller and lesser-known companies, and North Coast is one of my favorites.
They make leather golf gloves that fit well, look good, and are durable. I’ve been using the same glove for going on 20 rounds now and it has continued to hold up better than gloves from many of the name brands that I’ve had.
This is one of those gifts that is great because the golfer in your life may not be familiar with North Coast, but they’ll be glad you did your research when they find their new favorite golf accessory.
- Who is it for? Any golfer who wears a glove when they golf.
- Who isn’t it for? The person who is already married to a particular brand and isn’t open to something new.
- Our Review: My review of North Coast Golf Gloves
- Solid Alternative: Red Rooster Golf Gloves.
Looking for the best golf gloves out there, and want to support an awesome small business? Check out North Coast Golf Co. They're gloves are super high quality, durable, and what I use for 90% of my rounds.
Best Golf Pants: G/FORE 5 Pocket Pants
I’ve been looking for the perfect pair of golf pants for a long time, and I’ve finally found it with the G/FORE Tour 5 pocket pants.
The fit is perfect, and the slight stretch is welcome in a pair of athletic pants. You can dress them up or down, and if you’re looking to have one pair of nice pants that can do a little bit of everything, these are definitely ones to consider.
- Who is it for? The traveling golfer who wants versatile clothes that also look good.
- Who isn’t it for? People looking for more of a budget gift, as these are creeping up on $200.
- Discount: Use the G/FORE coupon code “G4BREAKING8010” to save 10%
- Review: G/FORE 5 Pocket Pants Review: My New Favorite Golf Pants
- Solid Alternative: TRUE All Day Pants – Very similar to the Bluffworks pants, and another current favorite of mine. Use TRUE Linkswear coupon code “BREAKING15” to save 15% on anything from TRUE.
They're comfortable, stylish, and versatile. I get excited every time I get to put these pants are. That's saying something considering, they're just golf pants...
Use Code "G4BREAKING8010" to save 10% on your first order.
Best Golf Polo: Holderness and Bourne Maxwell
There’s more competition than ever these days in the golf polo market, and many of them are VERY good options.
But of all the polos I have, the one I find myself reaching for most often is the Maxwell by Holderness and Bourne.
They have close to a dozen other styles, but for me, this hits the right balance of fit, look, and performance – while still maintaining its roots in golf tradition.
You can’t go wrong with any of their polos though.
- Who it’s for? Someone who loves the tradition of golf, but still likes a little modern flare.
- Who isn’t it for? The person who is happy buying a polo from a big box store.
- Solid Alternatives: Looking for a consistent fit and a ton of print options? Rhoback. Want bolder styling? Redvanly.
Not only do Holderness and Bourne make some of the best golf polos in the world, they're run by two of the best people in the world. Great style, great comfort, great performance.
Best Golf Vest: G/FORE Maverick Hybrid Stretch Vest
Here’s a great golf gift. A solid vest – one that works well without getting in the way – is the kind of essential that a surprising number of golf clothing collections is missing.
The Maverick nails that tricky balance of warmth without restriction. Insulated panels keep your core toasty, while stretch, swing-friendly fabric through the shoulders lets you move freely. Add G/FORE’s clean styling and smart details, and you’ve got a layer that looks sharp off-course and performs when the temps dip.
- Who is it for? Golfers who want a premium, on-course performance vest that won’t restrict their swing and still looks great.
- Who isn’t it for? Not sure, really. I guess it’s not for the player who already has this covered in the golf wardrobe.
- Discount: Use code “G4BREAKING8010” to save 10%.
- Solid Alternative: Holderness and Bourne Swenson Vest – a refined hybrid with Thermore insulation and stretch panels that leans a touch dressier without giving up mobility.
- Interested in more golf vests? Here are our Top 10!
If you need a vest that won't restrict your swing on the course but that you can also wear off the course to a casual social function, I think this is a very solid option. Gives you the best of both worlds. Use code G4BREAKING8010 to save 10%!
Best Lifestyle Apparel: Redvanly
I knew Redvanly was branching out into some more lifestyle-oriented styles, but I didn’t realize just how good they’d be.
I personally wear the Larkin Hoodie all the time (in fact, I’m wearing it as I write this). It’s comfortable, fits perfectly, and the performance material just feels high-end.
I have a feeling any golfer in your life will enjoy this as much as I do, whether on the course or off.
And the Redvanly brand goes far deeper than that. Their pull-on shorts are some of my favorites. And I cannot recommend highly enough their Bradley pull-on pants. They’re the most comfortable golf pants you’ll ever own.
- Who it’s for? The Redvanly brand is for the golfer who’s looking for something different than the run-of-the-mill. Something more elevated, stylish, and better constructed.
- Who isn’t it for? The golfer not interested in spending more for nicer clothes.
- Redvanly Reviews: Redvanly’s golf polos offer a new take on classic designs; Are pull-on jeans the future?; Check out my review of the Redvanly Lifestyle line of clothes
I live in the Larkin hoodie from Redvanly. It's comfortable, feels very high end, and fits great.
Best Luxury Hoodie: G/FORE Cashmere Hooded Sweater
Look, I’m certainly not saying everyone’s going to be interested in a $495 hoodie, but if you want something truly luxurious, this thing is incredible.
Made with premium cashmere, it’s warm, it’s soft, it’s breathable. It’s nice. Like, really nice.
Yes, it’s pricey, but it’s the type of gift you give if you’re looking for something truly high-end.
- Who it’s for? Someone who wants premium luxury.
- Who isn’t it for? A practical-minded golfer who might scoff at the idea of a $495 hoodie.
- Solid Alternative: The Redvanly Quincy Hoodie is another great cashmere hoodie option, and at just $350 it might feel like a comparative bargain.
Soft, warm, breathable... This thing is nice! Yes, it's $495. But if you want true premium luxury in a hooded sweater, here it is.
Best Golf Rain Gear: Sun Mountain Cirque
When it comes to high-end, bulletproof rain gear, Galvin Green is usually the first name that comes to mind.
But recently, I reviewed the Cirque jacket and pants from Sun Mountain and was extremely impressed.
At a much lower price point, they’ve created a product that’s very waterproof, comfortable to wear, and isn’t quite as hard on your wallet as their European counterpart.
- Who is it for? Anyone who isn’t just a fair-weather golfer.
- Who isn’t it for? Only play when the sun is shining bright? You won’t need this.
- Our Review: Check out the Sun Mountain Cirque Review here.
- Solid Alternative: Anything from Galvin Green. Just be ready to pay more.
Sun Mountain has created an extremely comfortable and waterproof rain jacket at a very reasonable price for the quality you're getting. Highly recommended.
Best Take on a Boring Gift: Redvanly Baxter Boxer Brief
Underwear may not be the most interesting golf gift, but that changes when you consider a boxer brief made this well. Constructed with Redvanly’s PureComfort fabric (a blend of ultra-soft Lenzing Modal and spandex), these are some of the softest, most comfortable boxers anyone will ever wear.
And golfers who walk long courses in tough conditions know… That’s important!
They’re breathable, supportive, stretchy in all the right ways, and they even feature a fly design for practicality on the course. Add in a range of sharp color options, and you’ve got performance underwear that looks and feels far better than your usual pack of basics.
- Who is it for? The active guy who wants premium comfort, support, and style from his first layer.
- Who isn’t it for? The golfer who thinks $35 for one pair of underwear is over the top.
- Solid Alternative: BN3TH. Another super comfortable, very well-made option for people who understand the importance of great-fitting underwear.
OK, I get it: $35 is a lot of money for a pair of boxer briefs. But these aren't just any pair of underwear. They're as well-made, well-designed, comfortable, and performance oriented as anything in your wardrobe.
Best Golf Socks: Kentwool
Golfers know… Socks matter. A lot!
And I’m telling you, you are not going to find a better pair of socks than from Kentwool. I promise you the golfer in your life will appreciate the difference between these and whatever else they are wearing.
You can get Kentwool socks in all kinds of styles – crew, ankle, no-show, etc. – as well as in men’s and women’s and in all kinds of colorways.
It might be tempting to cheap out on socks, but paying extra for premium like this is well, well worth it – especially for regular walking golfers.
- Who is it for? Definitely a great gift for a walking golfer.
- Who isn’t it for? Someone who thinks all socks are the same (they’re wrong).
- Our Review: Why I Don’t Want to Take These Kentwool Socks Off My Feet
Whether it's crew or no show socks, Kentwool continues to be my all time favorite sock. I wear both versions on the golf course and they're incredibly comfortable and durable.
Best Golf Shoes Under $100: Adidas Tech Response 3
Finding a good pair of golf shoes, especially a spiked option, for under $100 is tough. That’s what makes the Adidas Tech Response 3 such a standout.
At just $70 retail, you’re getting a classic, reliable shoe with solid traction and comfort at a price that’s hard to beat.
If you just want a no-frills, dependable golf shoe that performs well without draining your wallet, I think this is a very smart value pick.
- Who it’s for? If you want a solid shoe that costs less than anything else I’d recommend, this is my pick.
- Who isn’t it for? Golfers who play a lot and maybe need a more premium shoe that will hold up to high use.
- Solid Alternative: Nike Roshe G – A spikeless option that’s one of the most comfortable golf shoes you can buy.
- Want more great golf shoe options? Check out the best golf shoes of 2025.
If you're looking for a reliable, spiked golf shoe under $100 - this is definitely a pair to check out. At $70 retail, it's one of the best golf shoe deals out there.
Best Golf Shoes Under $200: TRUE Linkswear Lux Hybrid
I’ve worn close to a dozen pairs of TRUE Linkswear shoes at this point. What I love about them is that they’ve literally got a shoe for just about every type of golfer.
They’re easily one of the most versatile shoe brands in golf, and there’s at least 3 models I could potentially point to as my personal favorite.
But right now, I’m loving the TRUE Lux Hybrids. They’re fully waterproof, perform on the golf course, and you can wear them off the course as well.
- Who it’s for? Golfers who want a shoe that can be worn all day both on and off the course.
- Who isn’t it for? Purists who like traditional golf spikes.
- Review: TRUE Linkswear Lux Hybrid Review: An Instant Classic
- Discount: Use code “BREAKING15” to save 15%!
- Solid Alternative: TRUE Linkswear Knit II are my favorites for traveling or just wearing all day.
These shoes are it. Of all the TRUE Linkswear shoes I've reviewed these are my favorite. Perfect balance of looks and performance. Highly recommended. Use code "BE15" to save 15%.
Best Golf Shoes Under $250: Payntr Eighty Seven SC
Payntr has been quietly building a cult following, and with the Eighty Seven SC they’ve dropped their best shoe yet. Designed in collaboration with Jason Day, it’s a perfect blend of performance and style: sleek, athletic looks paired with serious stability, traction, and all-day comfort.
From the carbon fiber propulsion plate to the PMXNitro+ midsole, every bit of tech here serves a real purpose, and you feel it when you’re walking 18.
They’re fully waterproof, lock your foot in without feeling restrictive, and are some of the sharpest-looking shoes Payntr has released.
At $220 they’re pricier than previous models, but considering the balance of looks, comfort, and tour-level performance, they’re a strong value in today’s market.
- Who it’s for? The golfer who wants a stylish, high-performance shoe built for serious play.
- Who isn’t it for? The minimalist who prefers spikeless comfort over a structured, tour-style shoe.
- Our Review: The Eighty Seven SC is Payntr’s best shoe yet.
- Solid Alternative: Like the Payntr look and style but want something less expensive? Check out the Payntr X 005.
Payntr takes all of the tech and performance they're known for, and applies it to their best looking shoe yet. Highly recommended.
Best Golf Shoes for Nike Brand Loyalists: Nike Victory Pro 4
This is the shoe that World Number One Scottie Scheffler wears, so…
Now, is this shoe going to transform the game of the golfer on your list? Probably not.
But if you want to give them the same shoe that the best player in the world wears, here you go.
Beyond the Scottie effect, this is just an extremely well-built, well-designed, high-performing golf shoe. In fact, I see Nike Golf as being on the rebound and well on their way to restoring their foothold as a trusted golf brand. This shoe goes a long way toward that objective.
- Who is it for? Golfers who love Nike. Like me, they may have strayed from the brand as there have been years of uninspiring releases. This shoe changes that.
- Who isn’t it for? If they are swoosh-averse, look elsewhere.
- Our Review: Best Tour-Level Value Shoe: Nike Victory Pro 4
- Solid Alternative: Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour Next% 2 – The shoes that restored my faith in Nike Golf.
Looking for a Tour Level shoe that won't tip the scales at over $200. Scottie Scheffler's Victroy Pro 4 might be exactly what you're looking for.
Best Blend of Comfort and Style in a Golf Shoe: G/FORE G.112
I have no idea why it took me so long to discover the G.112 golf shoes from G/FORE. Now that I have, I’m in love!!
These shoes have it all. They are stylish and unique, but not so unique that they’re over-the-top. They are unbelievably comfortable. The nubbed insole is seriously like getting a foot massage as you walk. They breathe well. They’re durable. They’re waterproof.
If you’re looking for a golf shoe that’s a bit different than all the ones you’ll find from the big brands, this one is worth your attention.
- Who is it for? Golfers who want premium construction, unmatched comfort, and legit performance.
- Who isn’t it for? The look won’t be for everyone. If you want something more traditional, this isn’t the right fit.
- Discount: Use code “G4BREAKING8010” to save 10%.
- Solid Alternative: G/FORE Gallivanter – The best-looking golf shoe
For the longest time, I didn't take these golf shoes seriously. Man, am I glad I decided to finally check them out.
Best Recovery Tool: Theragun Mini
Is the golfer in your life getting a little bit older this year? It’s time to start helping them take care of themselves off the course, so that they can spend more time on it.
The Theragun Mini is a massage gun that packs a huge punch in a small package. It’s the entry-level Theragun product, but for most people? This is the one to get. It’s very powerful, and more portable than the more professional models. This makes it easy to travel with, or use around the house.
- Who is it for? The person who is always complaining about aches and pains
- Who isn’t it for? Someone young enough not to recognize the benefits of recovery
- Our Review: Theragun Mini Review: A Must for Any Golfer
- Solid Alternative: Chirp Back Roller – Looking for a more affordable way to help your muscles recover? Chirp is like a foam roller on steroids.
I wasn't sure I believed the hype of the Theragun until I used it for a few weeks myself. For the price of a single massage at a fancy resort, you get nearly all the benefits, in a portable package that will last you for years.
Best *Selfish* Gift to Your Significant Other: Eight Sleep Pod Cover
I wasn’t prepared for just how much more my wife would love me after getting an Eight Sleep Pod 3 cover.
It’s a heated and cooled sleep system that also has built-in sleep tracking without the need for a wearable. The Eight Sleep system has evolved with generation 4 and 5 covers now available.
It’s expensive, so I expected it to be good. But I didn’t realize just how good it would be. This has essentially negated the need for air conditioning while sleeping in the middle of the Summer.
In a month of using it, I’m sleeping better, deeper, and waking up feeling more well-rested. So is my wife.
This is one of the best golf recovery tools out there. But if you’re looking to get your significant other a special gift that you’ll both benefit from for years to come? This is my pick.
I’ve now slept with this for more than 1,000 nights, and I couldn’t love it more.
- Who is it for? The person who is willing to spend some money to get the best night’s sleep possible
- Who isn’t it for? Those who aren’t.
- Our Review: Eight Sleep Review: After Over 1,000 Nights I Love it More than Ever
- Solid Alternative: Bedjet 3. This heats and cools using air rather than water and is a fraction of the price.
Quite simply, this is the single best investment you could make for your sleep - it's that good. It's expensive, but worth it.
Best Post-Round Decompression: Chirp Contour Massage Table
You don’t need a $13,000 massage chair to get real relief after a long day on the course. The Chirp Contour Massage Table surprised me with how good it actually is.
Compact and storable, it uses motorized rollers to work up and down your spine with real pressure, not just vibrations. With three roller options (soft, medium, and deep tissue), a heat function, and decompression mode that genuinely stretches your back, it’s one of the best recovery tools I’ve tested.
At $599, it delivers many of the same benefits as chairs that cost 10-20 times more. And right now, it even comes with a free RPM Mini massager (a $150 value), which is perfect for arms and legs.
- Who is it for? Golfers who deal with tightness or back pain and want a serious recovery tool without a massive chair in their living room.
- Who isn’t it for? Those who won’t commit to using it consistently.
- Our Review: The Chirp Contour Massage Table is So Much Better than I Expected
- Solid Alternative: Chirp Back Roller – cheaper, more flexible, but honestly less likely to get daily use.
This thing totally surprised me. It's fantastic. It gives many of the benefits of massage chairs costing 10-20x as much in a surprisingly compact package. Highly recommended. It's even better that you can get the RPM Mini ($150 value) for free.
Best Golf Fitness System: GolfForever
If the person you’re shopping for wants a workout that actually helps their golf, GolfForever nails it.
The kit (44.5″ training bar, two resistance bands, interchangeable weighted balls, door anchor, handles, and carry bag) pairs with a deep library of 500-plus video workouts. You get a personalized “Today’s Workout” that ramps intensity over time. Think mobility, core, rotational power, and injury prevention.
The hardware is well made, setup is simple with the door anchor, and the sessions are genuinely golf-specific (not just generic band work).
- Who is it for? Golfers who want a guided, golf-specific fitness routine to improve balance, mobility, and swing speed.
- Who isn’t it for? Anyone not willing to use it regularly.
- Discount: Use code “BE15” to save 15%!
- Our Review: Is GolfForever the Ultimate Swing Trainer?
Looking for a golf training program that really works? This is without a doubt one of the best out there. Save 15% with the code BE15!
Best Tour Golf Balls: Titleist ProV1 or ProV1x
In previous years’ gift guides, I’ve had either Vice or TaylorMade as my recommended “Tour Ball Gift.”
They perform well and often cost less than ProV1s.
But the reality is?
There’s no better golf ball to receive as a gift than a box of Titleist ProV1s. They’ve long been considered the gold standard in golf balls. And whenever you find one on the course? It’s like a little slice of Christmas morning.
So while there are balls that have performance on par with the ProV1s and may actually cost less, when it comes to giving a premium golf ball as a gift, just go with the ProV1s. No one is ever bummed about receiving them.
- Who is it for? Any golfer. Whether it’s the best ball for them or not, they’ll be excited about opening up a pack of golf’s best ball.
- Who is it not for? The absolute beginner.
- Review: Is the Titleist ProV1 Still the Best Golf Ball of 2025?
- Solid Alternatives: Vice Pro Plus Balls – Performance that is similar to the ProV1s at a fraction of the price. Callaway Chrome Tour – Callaway’s answer to the mighty ProV1 (they’re fantastic!). The Volvik Condor and Condor X – with code “BREAKINGEIGHTY” you can buy 3 dozen and get the fourth dozen free. That puts the per-dozen price at more than $20 cheaper than the ProV1.
- Best Golf Balls: Want some more golf recommendations? Here’s our take on the best golf balls.
There's a reason the ProV1 and ProV1x are the most well-known balls in golf, they're just that good. Not much more you need to say here. If they're in your budget? Buy em.
Best Cheap Golf Balls: Noodle Long & Soft
Sometimes you just need a casual gift for the casual golfer, that won’t break the bank.
For so many of us, the most useful gift like that is a box of balls.
And our favorite golf balls for the average golfer who doesn’t need anything special, but doesn’t want to be hitting rocks either?
For under $30 you get a box of 8 sleeves (24 balls) or get 15 balls for under $20. And they were good enough to have me shooting an 86 at TPC Sawgrass recently. I was shocked at the quality of the ball for the price, and it’s my number one recommendation for golfers who don’t need anything fancy.
- Who is it for? The person who wants a good golf ball at a rock-bottom price. We ranked it as both our best golf ball for beginners, as well as our best cheap golf ball.
- Who is it not for? The person who has too much of an ego to play Noodle Golf balls
- Review: Noodle Long & Soft Golf Ball Review
- Solid Alternatives: Bridgestone e6. For around the same price (but 12 fewer balls), the E6 is my go-to mid-range ball, with a name and reputation that most people shouldn’t be embarrassed gaming in their Sunday foursome. Buy Bridgestone e6 Golf Balls at Golf Galaxy. OR Go for a crazy-cheap deal with the Volvik Vivid Soft golf balls. They retail for $29.99 a dozen, but if you use code “BREAKINGEIGHTY” you can buy three dozen and get the fourth dozen free. That works out to only $22.49 a dozen for a golf ball that’s not only pretty good but also really easy to see. Buy from Volvik.
I was surprised by how good these balls were. Now, it's all relative, they're no Tour-level ball. But at this price, for the average golfer who isn't a single-digit handicap, these will serve you just fine.
Fun Stocking Stuffers for Collectors: Volvik Special Collab Golf Balls
Volvik’s got licensing deals with big-time brands like Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars. And they’ve got a bunch of special collaboration, collectible golf balls in multiple set configurations.
So if you’re shopping for a big Star Wars fan – someone who might love having a special red golf ball with Darth Vader’s head on it – Volvik is the move.
Also a great option for drawing young kids to the game. Want to get them interested in golf? Try giving them some Mickey Mouse or Goofy or Donald Duck golf balls.
Fun collectibles and great stocking stuffers.
- Who is it for? Fans for brands like Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars. Now they can collect (or play) cool-looking golf balls with their favorite characters.
- Who isn’t it for? No serious golfer is going to put one of these balls in play. But, hey, they still might enjoy collecting them.
- Review: Check out our overview story on Volvik golf balls.
Playable collectibles from Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars. Tons of cool designs built on Volvik's matte, high-vis ionomer cover. Use code BREAKINGEIGHTY to buy 3 dozen, get 1 free!
Best Golf Gift Under $20: Thiodoon Golf Club Brush
Sometimes you don’t want to spend a ton of money on a gift, and you just need a little golf stocking stuffer. While a bag of tees is always a good stocking stuffer, I’d recommend grabbing a club brush (or two in the case of this value pack).
This brush even has a retractable cord for easy access from the bag.
- Who it is for? The person who wants to give a golf gift, not spend a fortune, and has no idea what else to get.
- Who is it not for? The person who has zero interest in cleaning their clubs. Ever.
- Solid Alternative: Greens Towel (Pack of 3). Every golfer needs a good towel to attach to their bag to clean clubs, balls, and whatever else gets dirty out on the course. These microfiber towels are an incredible deal and are the perfect gift or stocking stuffer for the casual golfer.
Every golfer could use one of these. And with this pack, you get two! A timeless stocking stuffer.
Best Stocking Stuffer: MagnetOwl
This is one of those random products you didn’t know you needed, until you start using it all the time.
It’s a small magnetic clip that you attach your golf towel to. This then allows you to attach your towel directly to your golf clubs or golf cart.
This makes grabbing and using your towel way more convenient, and the built-in removable ball marker only adds to the convenience.
For 20 bucks this is another fantastic stocking stuffer idea.
- Who it is for? The person who appreciates the little things that makes their life easier.
- Who is it not for? The golfer who always plays with a caddie and doesn’t need easy access to their own towel.
The kind of product you'd never know you need, until you realize just how convenient it is to use.
Best Thoughtful Gift: Seamus Golf Headcovers
I love Seamus Golf. When you see other people who have their head covers, you’re in the “club” – and it almost always leads to a good conversation.
I think this is a great, thoughtful gift. Because it’s something your golfer might not buy themselves but will totally appreciate once they have them. For instance, I bought both my dad and my father-in-law driver covers for our wedding day. Seamus also has a lot of other cool golf accessories, and most of them can be personalized.
- Who is it for? The person who wants to give something a little bit more sentimental than just a box of golf balls.
- Who isn’t it for? The diehard brand fanatic that doesn’t want to see anything other than a big logo on their clubs
- Review: Seamus Golf: The Best Headcovers in the Business
Not only do they have the best headcovers in the business, but they've expanded far beyond that. Seamus is quite simply the coolest accessory brand in golf. Everyone should have at least one Seamus piece in their bag.
Best Bluetooth Speaker: BlueTees Player+ Speaker
More people than ever are listening to music on the golf course these days.
This means more brands than ever are releasing speakers specifically for the golf crowd.
We’ve reviewed quite a few golf Bluetooth speakers, and the Blue Tees Player+ Speaker is still my favorite. The bright, backlit touchscreen is best-in-class. It’s also IPX7 waterproof, has a rock-solid magnet, GPS yardages, and a 10-plus hour battery.
Spring for the optional Blue Tees Membership and you’ll unlock hazard/drive-distance screens and deeper round analytics. But even without it, Player+ is the top golf speaker we’ve tested.
If you want to gift a speaker with great sound and the convenience of GPS distances? This is a fantastic choice.
- Who is it for? The golfer who is also a music lover.
- Who isn’t it for? Traditionalists who don’t think music belongs on the course.

- Review: The Blue Tees Player+ is the Best Speaker in Golf
- Solid Alternative: The Bushnell Wingman View. This is the ultimate, feature-heavy Bluetooth speaker. If you want GPS distances, a couple fun party tricks, and fantastic sound – this is the one to get.

Blue Tees original Player Speaker has been my favorite golf speaker since 2022. Now, with the updates in the Player+, it's even better.
Best Gift for the Lady in Your Life: Chrysmela Earring Locks

Any of us who does anything active with women on a regular basis has probably found themselves scouring the ground looking for that one lost earring.
For lady golfers, this can happen all too often – but it doesn’t need to!
Chrysmela earring locks help keep earrings secure and definitely gets my pick for one of the best golf gifts your wife didn’t know she needed.
Does the lady in your life love golfing, but hate losing her earrings while out on the course? This solves that problem, and makes a fantastic gift.

Great list. I would add Callaway Truvis yellow and black chrome soft, I like it better putting and chipping.
Hey Sean, I love the Arccos set, but for anyone looking, Arccos has a drastically improved hardware lineup being released soon. It’s up for preorder at their site.
Much smaller design, better battery life, better bluetooth connectivity, etc.
Cheers.
Thanks Matt! I actually have one on the way as we speak and will be getting a review up in the next couple weeks. Will update this accordingly!
Just read the review. Loved it.
I’m having such a hard time justifying the upgrade for now. I’ll probably grab it mid 2017.
Your final thoughts on the 360 product were identical to what I was thinking:
Nothing mind-blowing from a current-Arccos golfer perspective; having said that – 9/10. 🙂
I like the more social aspects of GameGolf, and wish Arccos would start thinking along those lines.
Love the list. I have the Zepp 2. It is a fantastic piece of equipment. Word to anyone thinking of using it: Grab a pro first, tell them about what the zepp does, then tailor your lessons and what to work on based on the results.
Cheers brother. Happy Holidays.
This list is awesome. Great job with the variety and details. Now I’ve got a few things to ask my wife to get me for Christmas!
Great List. Definitely a few things I want. I also 100% agree with the Bushnell and Golf Odyssey recommendations.
Side note – I was wondering the other day why there isn’t an app for an iPhone that uses the Doppler radar technology. The Swing Caddie looks great, but it also looks like an iPhone. If someone could create an app that is reliable, the app would sell a ton.
Keep up the good work.
Well done Sean….for the uber gift a membership to the World Amateur Tour and entry into next year’s USA stop at Liberty National. Like a pro-am but YOU are the pro. I’ve played in 3 of them. http://www.worldamateurtour.com

Hi what’s a good set of golf clubs to buy for my husband for Xmas. He practically has been going every chance he gets.
